Thought from the White Board - June 18

My wife should be in the midst of her hands-on practical test for her state boards right now.  Or maybe done with it.  Who's to say?  Either way, I hope she is doing well.  She has been so sick these past few days, and not sleeping good either.  I know I shouldn't wish the days away, but I hope this time of hardship passes by and that good days, or should I say better days, will follow.

If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut. - Albert Einstein

All life is a chance. So take it! The person who goes furthest is the one who is willing to do and dare. - Dale Carnegie

The golden rule is that there are no golden rules. - George Bernard Shaw

Dreams are life, real life, not simply reflections. Dreams are honest. - Tim Lebbon

I can't say as I fully agree with the quote above from George Bernard Shaw, but I can see his point.  As I may or may not have mentioned before about the White Board, sometimes I'll post things on it that I don't agree with or believe, simply because I think they are an interesting comment or that they make a statement about the person who originally said them.  It's up to the reader to deduce what I really agree with and what I don't.  I'd even quote Adolf Hitler if I thought something he said was interesting, even though I don't subscribe to his horrific ideas.  Hope that makes sense, in some small way.

They forgot the bell bottoms of the 70s.  Anybody recall what pants fashion looked like in the 80s?  I was too busy playing with my Legos and watching MacGyver.  Ah, to be a kid again...
